Walk For Lupus Now

"Walk for Lupus Now -You Did It!

Over 3000 walkers and families showed Atlanta LUPUS MATTERS at our 3rd Walk for Lupus Now in Piedmont Park! The sea of butterflies carried by lupus patients, the family friendly atmosphere, the record number of teams and wonderfully creative and inspiring team t-shirts, our wonderful radio hosts from V-103 and WAOK, Falcons football star, Von Hutchins, free snacks from Kraft, Kroger and the Coca-Cola Company - ALL led to a fabulous day! Many walkers from all across Georgia were empowered and inspired by the passion of the walk and to see so many who care about lupus.

To date we have raised over $185,920 - YOU CAN HELP US REACH $200,000!!"

With Keely and her family and friends had 18 people walking for her. The family has raised over $1200.00 so far and still accepting donations. It was a long day and Keely really had a great day. She was really tired by the end but she did it! She didn't feel well the next day but I hear from her grandmother that she was doing better and was able to spend the night with her a few days ago. GO KEELY! We are all still rooting for you in your battle and are here for you.
